Elevate Your SEO Game with Landing Pages

Even when you already have a high-performing website, landing pages are a profitable tool in a holistic SEO strategy. Landing pages have a more precise function than standard websites.


They are single page sites with:

  • a customized URL that helps communicate information about the content that people can find on the page

  • persuasive content that gets directly to the point

  • one or more compelling calls to action (CTA)

  • links to the relevant page on the main website


The CTA can be a compelling invitation for the visitor to do something like, complete a contact form to request an estimate for a service, download a high-quality freebie that provides value in exchange for email subscriber sign-ups, or even a simple contact button that initiates a phone call.


Landing pages are created for the purpose of engaging a targeted audience to take an action with your company that directly leads to a sale.

Our client, Keenly, who specializes in providing data protection services, strategically used simple – but striking - visual examples that tie images of their app to step-by-step messaging of how easy it is to use their services. Throughout the site, the visitor clearly sees the benefits of the service, the plan options and pricing, and is frequently invited to start a free scan to become introduced to Keenly.

Another strategy is to use a landing page to emphasize niche services offered in a geographic area. We did it for La Mejor Website in the CA South Bay to emphasize our Wix specialization, so that potential clients who attempted designing their own website could find an experienced designer to take over the project. Landing pages can even be used to feature products or services separately to leverage optimization capabilities. Our client, The Tanning Spot, took advantage of this when the owner expanded services to include alternative wellness therapies. Under www.cryowellness.fit, cryotherapy, red light therapy, Pressotherapy, infrared salt sauna and other spa services were highlighted. The site was optimized to target the local geographic area with specific search keywords and key phrases that clients would use in their Google searches.

How do you create a landing page?

Keep in mind, when landing pages are being developed, the written content should:


  1. heavily focus on the intention of the searcher in a target audience (“intention” meaning, what is the ultimate reason for the search) For example, is their intention to research so they learn about something, make a purchase online, find a company that offers a service, etc. Understanding your target audience and how they make their purchasing decisions is critical here!

  2. include the keywords and key phrases that specific audience uses in their searches For example, does cryotherapy help arthritis? how do you create a landing page? why is SEO important? how much does a tax attorney cost?

  3. the content should clearly connect the benefits of the product or services directly to the needs of the visitor, then compel them to complete an action





Once they are developed and designed, landing pages get optimized. Meaning, the technical work of SEO is performed directly on the back-end to rank well in search engine results, leveraging all of that strategic content.
